Small gestures go a long way

"One man's trash is another man's treasure"
We all underestimate and undervalue these words of wisdom, for they are absolutely true no matter what the situation or circumstances may be. We always underestimate the things that seem less significant to us but may carry all the significance for another person.
Humans, by nature, are self absorbed and obsessed. For even the brightest of people have common human flaws; living in a bubble of self inflicted delusion, believing what we believe is right, what we are feeling is how everyone feels and what we understand is what everybody understands.

Our biggest flaw as humans; is taking things for granted. We all do it, on a minute-by-minute basis at the very least. We take everything and everyone for granted; from Family to friends to the food we eat.
"You never know what you have until it's gone"
I suppose, all i am trying to say is; don't bite the hand that feeds you, don't mess with people handling your food, don't upset the garbage man for he may never collect. Never undervalue a person's status and role in your life, for you may be taking it entirely for granted; but you will notice it once its missing. Believe me.
Always try to show appreciation; in whatever form is adequate; to the people around you who support you.

The Truth of the Face

Did you know that all emotions that you feel not only have a direct effect on your behaviour and body language, but also cause different muscle glitches in your face. These muscle movements happen at a fifth of a second and happen unconsciously. They are called Micro Expressions.
We have over forty muscles in our face and a glitch from each one of them reveals a specific emotion.
Now, you may be thinking that facial expressions are seen everywhere, when people cry or laugh, smile or frown, but i am not talking about expressive facial expressions. There is a HUGE distinction between emotions that we consciously reveal and emotions that we try hard to hide, like guilt.
Below are a series of pictures that show different micro muscle reactors that occur in your face when you experience specific emotions, but remember these pictures are frozen, and that in reality, these muscle movements only last for a fifth of a second, so most of the time, we fail to notice them on other people.
Many scientific and social experts can observe and study these signs to help with lie detection as well, as your face is an open book that reveals all subconscious and concealed emotion of happiness, anger, guilt, frustration or genuine surprise.
Common movement when a person is hiding something - Itchy nose
Common movement when a person does not have belief in what they are saying- One sided shoulder shrug (lasts for a part of a second)
Common movement for lying (when person is standing) - Stepping back & folding arms
Common movement for lying - Curling of the lower lip

The Separation of Senses

I think that many of us, if not most of us, rule and manage our lives entirely through our priorities. Our priorities are what determine our quality of life, our general state of mind and happiness. Some may be wealthy, but prioritize their health or family ties above all; so all the money in the world does not keep them happy.

Many people will read this far and nod their heads with approval or understanding, but how many of us truly understand this concept? We are social beings, and by our nature we see and interact with people every day. We watch the poor become poorer and the rich become richer, we see people struggle and people succeed.

More often than not, we are shocked at the sight of people that we deem to be 'less fortunate' live their lives with happiness. What is the secret? Before we explore why they are happy, we must first explore our own reasoning as to why we label them as less fortunate. Surely, there are general guidelines that we have all grown up with. People without food on the table (if a table at all exists!) and a warm shelter are considered to be less fortunate. And yet, the percentage of people all over the world living on the 'bread line' are generally a lot happier than wealthy people. Maybe it's because they appeal to the simpler side of life and aren't constantly nagged with the horrific ideas of losing all their money. I don't know, i don't create ideologies; i just appreciate them.

More importantly, once we figure out why we label people the way we do, we not only learn more about the citizens of the world; but ironically, we learn more about ourselves. We discover uncharted depths that most of us were previously unaware of. We view the world as we want to. We inflict our own opinions and values into everyday situations.

If we see a homeless man crying, we would assume that he cries out of desperation, but if a wealthy man cries we assume he cries out of personal matters of the heart. It wouldn't surprise me if the wealthy man cries out of longing to be poor and simple as the day he was born.

As for the crying homeless man, he cries out of pity for the shallow world. I should know; i asked him.

The Willingness to Will

Your hints, i perceive as crashing waves on stone, breaking all that is safe and continuous; i remain confused by the ironic subtlety that underlines your words; i pursue a turtle that has withdrawn from the world and into its shell; you are a Mirage to my thirst and strawberries to my hunger. You give a little only to take more away; i will not walk behind your trail, only at its side; The choice remains with you.
As it always did, my anguish sustained you for as long as you needed; you ask me only what you doubt and my answer feeds your intention. You wrap yourself in a quilt of painful irony, well fed and abrasive, seeking only to accomplish your worst fear. Your natural intuition of self defence protects you with your own fear. A projection of your insecurity blinds my eye as you pour lemon on the wounds of my soul.
We leave breadcrumbs to find our way back home, thinking not of the wind, the soil, the animals and the wild but only of our own convenience and need. We rely blindly on it as i on you; scattered and unreliable you remain; misleading and painful; the duration of my self discovery into the pit of your self indulgence leaves hoarse vocals and a charred sense of desire and motivation.
Dogs will bark and fire can not but burn, helplessly created to cause harm; dare we blame not the fire but the burned? Must we attribute such realms into human complexity? If only such material simplicity remained in significant aspects of our well being and nature.
I am frightened by your question; the tone, merely a form of delivery, but the answer that awaits rots at the pit of my stomach, for i seek it as much as you do. You ask out of fear, but i out of love. Same questions and same hope; carrying an entirely different journey. I await for you at the brink.
